The RMT met with London Underground this morning (2nd April) for what the company considered to be the first Skills Development Transformation consultation meeting.
London Underground announced plans today (Tuesday 26th March) to cut over 100 jobs in their latest round of 'Transformation'. These cuts are being made in multiple areas including, Track Access, Trainers, LUCC, Power and Waste Services.

On Monday 18th March, RMT reps from several Functional Councils (MATS, Service Control, Engineering, Fleet) were told that plans for further reorganisation on London Underground would begin on Monday 25th March. We were not given any further information until yesterday (21st March) when we were invited to attend a large number of staff briefings in different areas of the company.
Following a recent spike in violent crimes on trains and stations at the East End of the District and Hammersmith &City Lines, East Ham Branch called an emergency meeting, where we passed the following resolution:
