ISS DLR pay offer accepted

The Lead Officer and Reps recently met with ISS to discuss the 2020 pay review and following discussions, the final offer which was received was as follows:-

RMT congratulates members on 3.4% pay rise offer

Subject: RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE – ISS (KAD SECURITY CONTRACT)

That we note the report on file, and that our workplace representative has consulted the members and the Lead Officer recommends acceptance of the offer which constitutes a
3.4% rise in pay across various grades.

We congratulate our members, representatives, DLR Branch, Lead Officer and Ray Shackleton for obtaining this deal.

We instruct the General Secretary to advise the company of our acceptance.

RMT secures 3.8% pay rise on DLR

Subject: RATES OF PAY AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2019 – CGL RAIL (DOCKLANDS LIGHT RAILWAY CONTRACT)

That we note the report from the Regional Organiser in which he advises that the following pay offer has been tabled:-

A 3.8% increase for Systems Technicians and General Operatives.

Having consulted with our Representatives, the Regional Organiser is requesting that the offer is accepted without the need for a referendum.

We therefore instruct the General Secretary to advise the company of our acceptance of their offer.

DLR machinary amendments endorsed by RMT

Subject: MACHINERY OF NEGOTIATION – KEOLIS AMEY DOCKLANDS

We note the report from our Lead Officer; and that the amendments to the recently agreed Machinery of Negotiations have been endorsed by him and the Dockland Light Railway Branch.

RMT confirms further strike action on DLR in dispute over breakdown in industrial relations

RMT cleaners, security staff and travel safe officers on Docklands Light Railway will be taking part in a further phase of strike action over a comprehensive breakdown in industrial relations, the union confirmed today, as the intransigent attitude of the management continues to refuse to meet and negotiate a settlement.

The workers involved in the dispute are employed by contractor ISS on the KAD contract and will take further strike action as follows:

ISS KAD industrial action called

Subject: BREACH OF MACHINERY – ISS (KAD CONTRACT)

We rescind our previous decision NWW 29.5.18 and we instruct all affected members to take industrial action in the form of a strike from 05:30 on Wednesday 13th June 2018 to 05:29 on Thursday 14 th June 2018.

Further; we instruct the General Secretary to defer to the Finance Sub-Committee the consideration of a strike fund to be set up to assist our members as many of them
are low paid.

DLR pay offer referendum to be held

RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2018 - KEOLIS AMEY DOCKLANDS (DLR/0001/KAD)

In line with Union policy, a pay claim for an increase in pay and improved terms and conditions was submitted to the company. The Regional Organiser has met with them and the following offer has been tabled:-

RPI + 0.25% or 2% (whichever is higher) for 5 years (1st April 2018 to 1st April 2022)

RPI + 0.5% for employees with a salary under £30,000 for either the full 5 years or until they meet the £30,000 threshold
