The next meeting of Neasden branch will be on 16th May at the torch pub, Wembley Park at 16.00.
As well as usual branch business there will be a discussion on whether or not the RMT should reaffliate with the Labour Party. This is part of the ongoing consultation process before a decision is taken at a Special General meeting on 30th May.

Attached is a list of dates for the Neasden Branch meetings in 2018. Please note that the first meeting is this Wednesday 17th January. Hope to see you all there!
All Branch Reps/Members are invited to attended a general walkabout on Friday 19th January in order to promote the RMT Union to Night-Tube Staff within the Neasden Branch area.
We will be meeting at 20.45hrs at Wembley Park Station, then moving onto various other locations throughout the evening.

Branch nominations are now being accepted for delegates to attend the folowing conferences:
The TUC Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Conference which will be held at Congress House in June 2018 (date to be confirmed).
The British Trades Union Congress which will take place early to mid-September 2018 (date and location to be confirmed).
The TUC Disability Conference which will be held in Congress House on 17th and 18th May 2018.
Due to a change of dates for the Tottenham Hotspur v West Ham fixture at Wembley Stadium, the function room at The Torch Pub is no longer available on Wednesday 25th October, so the meeting will now be held on TUESDAY 24TH OCTOBER at 16:00 instead.
Apologies for this 2nd change in date, but as you can appreciate this was completely out of our hands.
Nominations for Functional Positions will take place at this branch meeting so please make every effort to attend.
Just a reminder that the Neasden Branch will be holding an organising event tomorrow morning (20th September) before the branch meeting. The day will commence at Harrow on the Hill at 11.00am, then move on to other locations in order to boost the union profile and to recruit new members. Please make every effort to attend.
Neasden Branch will be holding an 'Organising Day' on Wednesday 17th May (the same date as the next Branch Meeting). The day will commence at Bond Street at 11:00am.
Reps are asked to make every effort to attend the Organising day which will cover Bond Street upwards to Wembley Park, stopping at stations in between. The branch will provide lunch for all attendees.

A position has become available for Women's Officer for the Neasden Branch. This is a vital role that needs to be filled. If you are a Female Branch Member who wishes to be considered for the post, or if you would like to know more about the role please contact the Branch Secretary or Branch Chairman.
A General Walkabout will take place at Bond Street and Baker Street Stations on Wednesday 15th February. All Reps and Activists are encouraged to attend. The aim of these walkabouts is to promote the RMT Union and the Neasden Branch, and to encourage new members to join. For convenience purposes, this walkabout has been arranged on the same day as the February branch meeting. Please meet in the Bond Street main booking hall area at 11am.
