"Keep the guard on the train" campaign launched

Dear Colleague,

“KEEP THE GUARD ON THE TRAIN” CAMPAIGN

Today the union launches an important new phase in our on-going campaign to defend the role of the guard and the safety of the travelling public.

You will see below a press release announcing the formal unveiling from today of a series of short films commissioned by RMT that drive home our key messages on safety, security and accessibility on the railways.

It is crucial that we use our own networks to get these films out to the widest possible audience and we are asking all RMT members to play their part in this.

If you are on Twitter or Facebook you can click through the links below and retweet and share the films as they are released over the next four days. If you are not on social media you can click on RMT's YouTube channel and copy the link and share it with your contact list through email or text.

I would urge you to support this important initiative by the union which is designed to get our message across to the widest possible audience.
