London Underground Pay talks update

Dear RMT members

Today myself with RMT reps, and the other Trade Unions met LUL face to face for the 6th meeting we’ve had in this years Pay talks.

Despite our strong representation in the meeting the company made no revised/ improved  offer. Rather they once again pleaded poverty. We told them in no uncertain terms that our members would not be paying for either the government or the mayor's financial starvation or incompetence.

At the end of the day long meeting LUL said they were preparing a revised offer and that they would send it to us next Thursday 30th.

RMT train reps call for review into insufficient driver numbers

STAFFING LEVELS
Update May 3rd 2019

Today your RMT TFC reps met with LUL to discuss levels on trains; the current numbers were agreed as part of the 2009 Agreement.

The formula used to determine which “Band” a depot fell in was based on various factors, including the number of duties at a depot, the position of the depot on the line, the frequency of trains, number of remote booking locations and the proximity of the train crew to a rolling stock depot.
