What is a National Executive Committee decision?
This article is an 'executive decision' which has been written by the RMT National Executive Committee. The National Executive is the union's governing body in between AGMs. Its decisions set out what the union will do on a particular issue.

RMT General Grades Committee decision:
We note the resolution from our LU Fleet branch and share the branch’s concerns about the unjust way in which our member is being treated. We further note the branch’s view that members have no trust in the disciplinary procedure being applied fairly, and wish to take industrial action to ensure justice for their workmate.
Accordingly, we instruct the General Secretary to ballot all members at Tube Lines Northfields depot for strike action and action short of strike, and to send a personal letter to all members outlining the issue and urging them to vote Yes.
