“That this branch submits an amendment to the Regional Council Standing Orders Voting System. This branch believes that a system should be used that is proportional to the size of the Branch instead of one vote per branch. The system we propose would give each branch a minumum of 1 vote. Additional votes are given for every 500 members above a benchmark of 500 (as per that years statement of membership) ie a branch with 1000 members would have two votes, a branch with 1500, 3 etc. These votes would by additional cards retained by the Regional Secretary.”

LU Engineering Amendment:

"The system we propose would give each branch a minimum of 1 voting delegate. Additional voting delegates are given for every 1000 members or part there of above a benchmark of 1000 (as per that years statement of membership) ie a branch with 1000 members or less would have one voting delegate, a branch with 1001-2000, 2 etc.

These votes would by additional cards retained by the Regional Secretary and used by voting delegates from the branch with one card per delegate"

Stratford No 1 Amendment:

This branch believes that a system should be used that is proportional to the size of the branch instead of one vote per branch. The system we propose would give every branch at least one vote .Each branch will be entitled to one voting delegate per 500 members or part thereof (as per that years statement of membership). i.e Branches with 0-500 members will have one voting delegate , branches with 501 to 1000 will have 2 voting delegates. Branches with 1001 to 1500 members will have 3 voting delegates :etc.
Each delegate may cast only one vote.
