The London Transport Regional Council executive has issued a statement following the suspension of Jeremy Corbyn by the Labour Party;

RMT London Transport Regional Council opposes the Labour Party's suspension of our long-time ally Jeremy Corbyn and calls on the party to rescind it.

This bureaucratic, authoritarian move detracts from the need to discuss, understand and tackle antisemitism. Jeremy Corbyn has always been anti-racist unlike detractors to his right, who hate his determination to put the realities facing ordinary people first on the political agenda.  He deserves full solidarity from the whole trade union movement.
