RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2015 – LONDON UNDERGROUND
Following this Union’s official acceptance on 1st March of the 4-year pay offer for our LUL members, I would be grateful if you could advise me when the applicable increase and backdated monies will be paid to my members?
The offer included the assurance that payment of basic salary to all eligible staff, backdated to 1 April 2015, will be paid through the first available payroll following acceptance of this offer but I have been informed that at the time of writing, it has not yet been implemented.
Please download and distribute the newsletter which stations members may find useful as FftF goes loive on Sun 3 April.
SFC reps and Tier 2 saftey reps will be travelling around the network on Sunday 3rd, Monday 4th and Tuesday 5th to support members who may be expeiriencing problems as a result of FftF. Contact details are all shown in the newsletter.
Dear Colleague,
TO ALL TFL PENSION FUND MEMBERS - BEWARE OF PENSION RIP OFFS
I have been contacted by our representatives across LUL/TfL who have raised with the RMT their concerns that financial service (insurance) companies are offering to “release” TfL Pension Fund members' pensions in return for a lump sum payment. I have been passed letters from a certain company who are offering a lump sum payment of 25% of the members' total TfL Pension Fund value with the remaining amount being reinvested.
Upfront is the RMT newsletter for drivers on the London Underground. Please share it online and distribute it at your depot.
In this edition:
In my role as RMT union’s LTRC Political Officer, I was instructed to contact mayoral candidates standing in the London 2016 elections. This was to determine which one of the candidate supports key union policies and our members best interests. For obvious reasons and as stated, the Tories and any party (considered) opposed to socialist principles were not contacted.
The questions incorporate RMT active Parliamentary Groups pursuit of a progressive transport and employment agenda based on the following principles:
Piccadilly News is the newsletter for train drivers on the Piccadilly Line. In this edition, which comes after rock solid strike action on the line:
- Strike rock solid
- Why we shut the line
- Justice for Oakwood Six
- Cockfosters Depot Fiasco
- I HATE YOU, BUTLER!
And don't forget -Unless there is an outbreak of common sense among line management, two further 24-hour strikes will take place as follows:
Tuesday 19 April, 1200hrs to Weds 20 April, 1159hrs
Thursday 21 April, 1200hrs to Friday 22 April, 1159hrs
Reporting Incidents
This is an issue that constantly raises its head at the Trains H&S council. We get reports from management that everything is rosy in their paperwork and graph filled little worlds. Funnily enough at the THSC we have entirely different view. We actually talk to our local reps and members and don’t have the target led approach to H&S so naturally don’t see it their way.
Dear members,
Can I please remind you about the RMT London Region delagation to The Tolpuddle Festival.
Dear Colleagues
