RMT Tells Cleaner Members Not To Use Fingerprint Book On
Submitted by rmtlondon on 20 February, 2014 - 14:16We note that despite this union’s objections - the infringement of our members’ civil liberties and the threat to jobs - ISS (LU CONTRACT) are pressing ahead with the use of this technology. We further note that they intend to impose this technology on March 2nd and have been insisting our members sign documentation in advance of this imposition threatening our members that they must use this technology or they will not be paid. We instruct the General Secretary to seek legal advice on this matter as soon as possible.

Fighting Homophobia RMT Poster
Submitted by rmtlondon on 17 February, 2014 - 15:42Please find enclosed some copies of the Fighting Homophobia poster. A wrist band has been produced to accompany the campaign and a couple are also enclosed.
This opportunity can be taken to remind all members that an object of the Union is “to oppose actively all forms of harassment, prejudice and unfair discrimination”. The poster provides a simple symbol for our zero tolerance to discrimination.
