Bakerloo detrainment dispute - important points for drivers.

Industrial action for a safer detrainment procedure on the Bakerloo starts Tuesday 15th of January until further notice. All trains going into sidings or depots should be physically detrained to ensure no overcarries.
Some important points to remember:
• Always be in the correct position at the correct time for your pick up.
• If you are the relieving driver, inform the driver you are relieving that you will be physically detraining as per industrial action to ensure no overcarries.

Submitted by rmtlondon on 10 January, 2013 - 14:29Rail, maritime and transport union RMT announced today that the organisation has continued to increase its membership in the past twelve months in the teeth of the most savage attacks on jobs and working conditions for a generation.
Membership figures released by the union today show that RMT has put on a net gain of 1456 members through 2012, taking the total to 77,549 – an annual growth of nearly 2% in the most challenging circumstances.
The union has increased its membership year-on-year from the 59,277 total when General Secretary Bob Crow was elected in 2002
Legal Advice Due Over LU Staff Transfer To TfL

TfL Reps Discuss New Christmas Arrangements Policy

We instruct the General Secretary to obtain the views of our TfL no.1 branch on this matter and place these in front of us.

Trains Council Discuss Boxing Day Dispute
