TRANSPORT UNION RMT confirmed today that it is in dispute with Serco Docklands and will be balloting for both strike action and action short of a strike.

In two separate disputes, RMT drivers will be striking on the Bakerloo and Northern lines, starting with the night duties tonight (Friday) and continuing all day tomorrow (Saturday).

Please join the picket lines. Your support will be welcome, whatever length of time you can stay.

• Saturday from 04:30, continuing all day - Morden depot (to get there by bus, click here)

Ths resolution, submitted by Neasden branch, was carried unanimously by the November meeting of the Regional Council.

This Regional Council is in disbelief that the union expects branches and regional council to purchase flags and other material in order to give picket lines visibility.

The referendum for Alstom Metro Trains Rates of Pay & Conditions of Service has now concluded, the matter has now been considered by the General Grades Committee and the following decision has been taken:-

TUBE UNION RMT confirmed this morning that following a massive vote for action London Underground fleet maintenance staff members have been instructed to work only to process instructions (vehicle maintenance instructions), not to carry out higher grade working and not to cooperate with staff movements away from home locations. This action will commence from 00.01 hours on Tuesday 26th October 2010 and will have a major impact.

TUBE UNION RMT confirmed this morning that London Underground fleet maintenance staff have voted by 88% in favour of industrial action short of a strike over safety-critical cuts that have ripped up tube maintenance schedules leaving brakes and other equipment in a lethal state of disrepair.
