Local BNS/Roster Consultation starts at Rickmansworth.

The first group to begin the local BNS/Roster consultation is my own, Rickmansworth.
At the initial meeting LU confirmed that they agree with our reading of the BNS methodology, which means that if a CSS/CSM on a lone worked station is utilised in the ticket hall for 3 mins in any 15 min period then there should be a second member of staff in the ticket hall at that time.

Bosses Offer To Waterloo & City Line Controllers Falls Short of Member's Aspirations

RE-GRADING OF WATERLOO & CITY LINE SERVICE CONTROL STAFF – LONDON UNDERGROUND (LUL/2/2)

The Union has been in talks with the Company at ACAS over the on-going dispute where Waterloo & City Line Service Control Staff have been taking industrial action short of strike action to demand re-grading (Circular No. IR/89/14, 25th March 2014). As a result of these discussions, the proposed resolution which has now been received from management is as follows:-

  1. A firm commitment to reassess the weight and value placed on this role should material changes be made to the role performed.

Dispute On Piccadilly Line Over Cross Line Working

There is a flyer attached to this post, please distribute it amongst colleagues.

Over the last festive period Piccadilly trains ran a service down to Ealing Broadway. This was on the understanding from management it was one off and to help with the engineering works.

Why management are doing this
Management have produced the Xmas duties for this year and, again, it shows duties going to Ealing Broadway. Our union believes this is a management ploy to establish the principle of cross-line working.

No genuine reason
