LU Asset operations ballot result

Subject: BOXING DAY WORKING – LU ASSET OPERATIONS

We note the ballot result for strike action is:

Are you prepared to take strike action?
Number of individuals who were entitled to vote in the ballot:  377
Number of votes cast in the ballot:                                       168 (44.6%)
Number of individuals answering “Yes” to the question:             146 (38.7%)
Number of individuals answering “No” to the question:              22
Number of spoiled or otherwise invalid voting papers returned:  0   
   
Both of the above results fail to meet the new legal thresholds.

We note though that this dispute has resulted in the company addressing the matter with a one of payment affecting the grades we balloted.
