Recruitment & Retention:

Joiners and leavers report was read out only one to action. Eastham has had a change of dates! NEW DATE IS NOW THURS 25TH JUNE 09 meeting up at Barking Dog PH at 10:00 am Hands up who can come now please. If not book at surgery day.

Regional Council Report:

S.Headley gave a report on last Regional Council and also about this years pay talks, members present only had a few questions to ask.

All correspondence was read out: Discussion took place on some issues below: Pay talks Local ballots taking place on Piccadilly Line etc

Matters Arising From Minutes:

For this branch to select and join a trade council. A.I to ask all who may like to attend a local one and pay for this subscription.

Elections:

One election took place on preference of who to attend next A.G.M Branch voted as follows 123

Reports:

D.G On getting his job back on Eastham group. D.G was wrongly put into Redeployment due to attendance. Good work was done by the reps who represented him and A.I wrote a letter to Frank Ibe over the case. D.G. is still taking out a grievance against the G.S.M

C.H On an item of one member of staff working for a full 24hrs at Elm Park Station. This will now be raised at local meeting and maybe given over to CRSAS.

C.B On new G.S.M taking over at Embankment

C.B. Attending a C.D.I for one member of staff who was hospitalised after falling down stairs.

C.B One staff member stood down for assaulting a customer at Mansion House Further update at next meeting.

C.H Raised concerns about the standard of CCTV on stations and can it be used by Police.

C.B Raised motions for support from Sister.................. Camden Town Branch All motions were for this years AGM. And involved rule changes. MOTION 1...............To reduce qualifying time to attend AGM from 5years to 2 years PASSED MOTION 2...............Increase time avaliable to Branches to submit amendments PASSED MOTION 3...............Increase the number of delegates to AGM FAILED Not easy to understand branch numbers could lead to biug branches 300 plus having lots of delegates MOTION 4...............Strike Committees FAILED Not enough details on to how they would be elected team of office and what departments would be represented
