As part of the ongoing campaign against the McNulty Report the union is organising a further campaigning day of action on Thursday 2nd February.

The intention is that we again distribute campaign postcards during the morning rush hour to passengers at stations throughout the country.

The last day of action proved very successful. We managed to reach fifty stations around the country with a very supportive response and passengers have returned a massive number of cards to their MPs.

Regional Organisers have been asked to coordinate this activity through branches and I would ask Branch Secretaries to contact their Regional Offices to assist with the day of action. Activists are also asked to contact their Branches to offer assistance

Regional Organisers will be providing Head Office with updates of which locations the distribution of campaign postcards will take place and this information will then be placed on the RMT website so that we can alert our membership and the wider trade union movement to the action.
