Mace Macro recognition agreement accepted

RECOGNITION AGREEMENT – MACE MACRO

That we note the report from the Lead Officer and welcome Mace Macro’s voluntary offer of recognition for our members in their company.

We commend our Docklands Light Railway Branch member Bro Hong along with Bro Marshall (Org Unit) for securing this recognition, and Sister Rassid, Sister Ibobo and Bro Riberio for their assistance and stepping forward to become workplace representatives.

We instruct the General Secretary to advise the company of our acceptance of the recognition agreements.

Update on driver's cab security

Subject: LUL SECURITY DRIVER’S CABS

That we note the report from our Lead Officer and commend our Train Safety Council on the progress made so far on this serious matter.

We instruct the General Secretary to place an updated report back in front of the NEC upon any significant developments and/or prior to the November 2019 implementation date.

New Strike dates for Central and Victoria lines

Subject: BREAKDOWN IN INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS, TRAIN OPERATORS, CENTRAL LINE – LONDON UNDERGROUND

New Replacement Strike Dates/Times

According to the reps meetings wishes; we now instruct all affected members to take Industrial Action in the form of a Strike by not booking on for shifts between:

20:00 hours on Tuesday 3rd September until 20:00 hours on Wednesday 4th September 2019.

Victoria Line drivers to strike: date announced

Subject: BREAKDOWN IN INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS, TRAIN OPERATORS, VICTORIA LINE – LONDON UNDERGROUND

That we note the Lead Officer and our Negotiations Team have reviewed the lack of progress made by the company on this matter along with correspondence from the company which is unsatisfactory; and are recommending strike action should be called.

Accordingly; we instruct all affected members to take industrial action in the form of a strike by not booking on for shifts commencing between:

Central Line drivers' strike date announced

That we note the Lead Officer and our representatives have reviewed the lack of progress made by the company on this matter along with correspondence from the
company which is unsatisfactory; and are recommending strike action should be called.

Protection Staff pay meeting called

Subject: PAY, TERMS & CONDITIONS, PROTECTION STAFF – MORSONS AND CLESHARS (LU CONTRACTS)

That we note the report from the Lead Officer, and instruct the General Secretary to arrange an urgent meeting between the workplace representatives, the Lead Officer, Senior Assistant General Secretary and members of the NEC in attendance.

RMT to ballot over excessive track noise

Ear protectors

That we note the Lead Officer has consulted the representatives regarding the lack of progress by management on this issue; and our members need protection from the excessive noise where these poor track conditions exist.

Therefore, we instruct the General Secretary to ballot all Train Operators and Operator Instructors on the Jubilee, Central, Victoria and Northern Lines for industrial action for action short of a strike; namely:

Meeting called over breach of agreement in SSL Point Care Signalling Department

SUBJECT: BREACH OF AGREEMENT, SSL POINT CARE SIGNALLING DEPARTMENT – LONDON UNDERGROUND

That we note the decision from the 2019 RMT AGM regarding the breach of agreements; and instruct the General Secretary to arrange a meeting as soon as possible between the Bob Crow’s Branch Secretary; appropriate workplace representatives, members of the Track & Signals Functional Council, the Lead Officer, Senior Assistant General Secretary and members of the NEC in attendance.

Alstom pay offer falls short of expectations

Subject: RATES OF PAY AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2019 – ALSTOM METRO TRAINS

That we note the views of the Lead Officer and representatives; that the companies pay offer to us falls considerably short of our aspirations.

We instruct the General Secretary to prepare a ballot matrix, advise the company that a dispute now exists between our two organisations and that we are open for talks at ACAS.
