On eve of day of action RMT exposes full scale of London ticket office closures
RAIL UNION RMT has released a full list today of London Overground’s plans to cut hours at 45 stations to the bare minimum and close the ticket offices altogether at Brondesbury, White Hart Lane and West Hampstead.

Tube union RMT has suspended indefinite industrial action due to start at one minute after midnight tonight by drivers on four key underground lines after securing a massive victory over the issue of excessive track noise.
That we note the report from the Lead Officer that talks yesterday and today have produced a potential resolution to the excessive track noise, with short–mid and long term fixes that will ease, minimise and then remove this unacceptable situation put upon our members and travelling public.

Unite had three representatives at the meeting, PCS one. The other unions - TSSA, ASLEF and Prospect - were not represented.
‘Safety Moment’
We raised the issue of sexual harassment, especially on Night Tube. Management responded that the Mayor’s office (Michele Dix and Amy Lame) had drawn up a charter for women’s safety at night. The unions expressed alarm that we had not been consulted about this. Management agreed to arrange for our involvement.
