Dear all, we felt it only right that we should issue a report by the Reps currently taking part in the consultation talks with LU Management for the latest phase of transformation.

RMT members to strike on DLR on New Year’s Eve over breakdown in industrial relations

RMT cleaners, security staff and travel safe officers on Docklands Light Railway will be taking strike action on New Year’s Eve over a comprehensive breakdown in industrial relations. The workers are employed by contractor ISS on the KAD contract.

The dispute has arisen over the failure to hold meaningful pay talks or provide a proper response to the union’s pay claim and the failure to resolve long standing issues.

Branch Recruitment Evening for Night Tube

All Branch Reps/Members are invited to attended a general walkabout on Friday 19th January in order to promote the RMT Union to Night-Tube Staff within the Neasden Branch area. 

We will be meeting at 20.45hrs at Wembley Park Station, then moving onto various other locations throughout the evening.

We note the resolution from Finsbury Park Branch and instruct the General Secretary to raise all the issues contained within the resolution with the company, and to report back to this NEC, branches and members on any progress made and on which matters remain outstanding.

We note that the last paragraph regarding Night Tube representation is currently being dealt with.

Talks scheduled in Transplant train prep payment dispute
