In light of the deplorable treatment of our stations staff members; Brothers Siussi 52 weeks final warning, Sharp 52 weeks final warning, along with Cornel’s summary dismissal and his failed appeal that was an utter miscarriage of justice; We instruct the General Secretary to ballot all grades/members (CSA1, CSA2, CSS, CSM’s & RCI’s but excluding LU Staff Trainers at Ashfield House) based in all station areas and Cover Groups on London Underground for strike action and actions short of a strike.

Further to my previous Circular (IR/377/16, 6th December 2016), in which I advised that the NEC had taken the decision to cancel the planned strike action as the major issues of this dispute had been ceded by management and were therefore resolved, the following resolution has now been received from Piccadilly & District West Branch:-
London Underground : are you listening? We are going to strike unless you reinstate Lee Cornell.
Lee Cornell is a CSA at London Bridge with over 10 years exemplary service.
He is a dedicated, honest and proactive member of staff.
His crime was to go to assist a pregnant member of staff who had been physically assaulted by a fare evader.
The person who abused and assaulted Kirsty Watts then punched Lee twice and stole his glasses.

Tube drivers' strike on Central Line East goes ahead tonight as LU fail to take talks process seriously.
TUBE UNION RMT confirmed today that strike action on the Central Line East goes ahead as planned tonight after LU management failed to take the talks process seriously yesterday and showed a total disregard for the core issues at the heart of the dispute. No further talks are currently planned.
