Disciplinary Review Legal Issues Investigated

We note the report from our Regional Organiser on this issue.

We remain concerned that the employer has reached agreement with just one union, and do not accept the explanation from the company that it did this because TSSA raised the issues with it first. We instruct the General Secretary to ensure that this is raised at the next Company Council meeting.

We further note our previous legal advice on this matter. We instruct the General Secretary to arrange a meeting between our legal adviser, lead officer and the member who has been in contact with us concerning this matter, to examine any outstanding legal matters and possible remedies. The advice arising from this meeting is to be placed in front of us.

London Transport Regional Council and TfL no.1 branch to be advised.
