RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2016 – TFL (TFL/0001)

In line with union policy, a claim for an increase in pay and improved terms and conditions has been submitted. The Lead Officer has met with the company and the following offer has been tabled:-

  • ·         An initial offer of 0.75% of the pay bill (£225m) as a base pay rise to be distributed via the Pay for Performance arrangements for Pay Bands 1-3.

The offer equates to:-

  • Pay Band One = £29,390 means a rise of £220.42 per year, this is 70p a day.
  • Pay Band Two = £37,252 means a rise of £279.40 per year, this is 89p per day.
  • Pay Band Three = £53,072 means a rise of £398.04 per year, this is £1.27 per day.

This offer has been rejected by our Representatives and a further meeting is due to take place. I will keep you advised of all further developments.
