Tube Lines Strike Suspended

We note the report on file from our lead officer and in line with the unanimous view of our Company
Council representatives, we instruct the General Secretary to suspend the industrial action (strike and
overtime ban) due to start on Friday 15 February.

We note that Tube Lines is to cost our demands for pension and travel equality by the end of March.

We instruct the General Secretary to monitor the progress of this costing exercise, seeking regular updates from management; and to compile information which will illustrate that Tube Lines and the TfL Pension Scheme can afford to meet our demands without any detriment to our members' jobs, pay and conditions.

We further note that a reps' meeting is due to take place on Thursday 21 February and instruct the General Secretary to place a report of this meeting in front of us on Tuesday 26 February.

We further instruct the General Secretary to arrange for the production and distribution of a newsletter for Tube Lines members, explaining the current situation with this dispute as well as reporting on other issues.

We remind the relevant officers of our previous decision that the GGC member for London Transport
Region must be informed of Tube Lines reps' meetings and also instruct that reports of talks and other developments be sent to the GGC member when they are submitted.

London Transport Regional Council, branches and Tube Lines representatives to be advised.
