LTRC Training - Anti Trade Union laws 25/5/17 - 1300-1500

London Transport Regional Council training day 25 May 1300-1500 at the 12 Pins Finsbury Park 

New anti Trade Union laws came into effect this year and we need to train our reps and activists in how the new laws will affect our ballot results. Equally important is how we organise to overcome the hurdles set by the Government.

The course will be held at 12 Pins, Finsbury Park on May 25 1300 - 1700

The ballot on London Bridge and Waterloo will begin on March 30 and ballot papers must be returned by April 18.

London Underground managers have been quoted on social media and in the press as saying "Kirsty Watts was never assaulted " 

RMT to resist transfer of engineering workers from LUL to TfL

PROPOSED TRANSFER OF ENGINEERING, MAJOR PROJECTS, PMO AND CHANGE DELIVERY ACTIVITY FROM LONDON UNDERGROUND LIMITED (LUL) TO TRANSPORT FOR LONDON (TFL) (TFL/15/10)

The Company has recently advised of its proposal to transfer all engineering, major projects, change delivery and PMO activity from LUL to TfL. There are 1511 affected employees and the proposed transfer date is now 30th April 2017.

The next meeting of the LTRC will be at the Torch PH in Wembley Park on Thursday September 29 1630 - 1830

Following an initiative from Neadsen Branch the LTRC will be travelling around the region using Branch locations to hold the monthly meeting.

Recruitment and organising activity will take place prior to the Regional Council.

RMT to take Lillie Bridge depot fight to the Mayor

The  matter of the planned closure of Lillie Bridge Depot and provision of appropriate an alternative location must be raised with the New London Mayor Sadiq Khan as and when proposed talks between the Mayor and the RMT take place
Beginning this year notice has been given to our departments Track Delivery Unit, Maintenance Infrastructure Services, Track Manufacturing Department, Material Management Department (Stores), Transplant, Fleet Maintenance, District Line Trains and Plant Services at Lillie Bridge Depot that we are required to vacate the depot by 2019.
