Piccadilly Line drivers to be balloted for strike action

SUBJECT: BREAKDOWN IN INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS, TRAIN OPERATORS, PICCADILLY LINE – LONDON UNDERGROUND

We note the report from our Lead Officer that the company have failed to address our concerns around chronic understaffing, lack of resources, draconian use of the attendance procedures, obstruction of our representative trades union duties, undue pressure upon our Drivers from Service Control managers and managements failure to honour a number of commitments given during previous disputes; especially relating to stock, training and SPAD management.

ISS KAD industrial action called

Subject: BREACH OF MACHINERY – ISS (KAD CONTRACT)

We rescind our previous decision NWW 29.5.18 and we instruct all affected members to take industrial action in the form of a strike from 05:30 on Wednesday 13th June 2018 to 05:29 on Thursday 14 th June 2018.

Further; we instruct the General Secretary to defer to the Finance Sub-Committee the consideration of a strike fund to be set up to assist our members as many of them
are low paid.

Along with the London Transport Regional Council; this union is concerned “Yammer” is being used by management to bypass and undermined collective bargaining and trade unionism by their blanket policy of deleting any union material posted there, leading to a one-sided ‘conversation’ in which the bosses can circulate their
propaganda, but we cannot respond.

Managers trying to bulldoze through timetable changes on Jubilee Line

RMT confirms two 24 hours strikes on Jubilee line over imposed new timetable and ripping up of roster agreements

TUBE UNION RMT confirmed today that drivers on the Jubilee Line will be taking two days of strike action in June over the imposition of new timetables that ride roughshod over current rostering agreements.

After an overwhelming vote for action driver members will strike for 24 hours on the 6th and 14th June.
