Mick Cash has been elected as RMT General Secretary. Mick Cash said:

The LTRC are holding a recruitment/organising day on the DLR on Friday 26 September.
Please meet at Poplar Station at 1000.
We will be visiting stations across the DLR network followed by their branch meeting.
If you are able to come along the region will cover loss of earnings.
The monthly RMT Women's lunch will be at the Southbank centre (nearest station Waterloo).
This is open to all women members from all regions so if you can make it please join us!
It's an informal occasion usually lasting til 4pm or so. Southbank centre has inside and outside seating. Where we are will depend on the weather! The venue does have a cafe/bar but it's pricy. They also allow you to bring your own food and drink - I will supply some juices and snacks, but feel free to bring wine/sandwiches/whatever!
Hi, the above event takes place next Saturday 20th September commencing at 11.00hrs and closing at 17.00hrs, at our National Education Centre. Entrance is by ticket or RMT membership card only (licencing requirement). The event hopes to attract as many of our members, officials, reps and staff to the centre to see the facilities and opportunities the centre offers the Union. It is also being organised as a family day with entertainment for children, alongside live music all day, licenced bar (selling locally brewed ‘Bobs Brew’) barbecue and hog roast.
The next Neasden branch meeting is this evening at 16:00hrs in The Torch Public House in Wembley. Please make every effort to attend.
