RMT Seeks Legal Advice On ISS Plan

It is the Union’s view that the proposal by ISS could be deemed as unlawful and therefore we instruct the General Secretary to inform the Company of our rejection of their
amendment due to breaches of section 10 of the Employment Relations Act 1999.
Relevant Branches and Regional Councils to be advised.’

All Neasden Reps and Activists are asked to meet in Wembley Park booking hall on Thursday 28th August at 10am for a general walkabout and recruitment day.
This event is being organised not only to recruit new members, but also to let the frontline staff who are currently in the firing line with the 'Fit For The Future' debacle, that we support them. It doesn't mater what grade you are, they are coming for all of us eventually!
Any branch member who needs to take unpaid leave on this date in order to attend will be reimbursed by Regional Council.

In line with Union Policy, a pay claim for an increase in pay and improved terms and conditions has been submitted. The Regional Organiser has met with the company and the following offer has been tabled:-
- A 2% increase backdated to 1st April 2014, no strings attached.
RMT Seek Legal Advice On Tube Bosses CCTV Use In Disciplinary
Submitted by rmtlondon on 16 August, 2014 - 05:15The GGC has considered a resolution from our Central Line East Branch concerning the use of CCTV footage in a disciplinary case. The Branch highlighted a case where evidence against a member was sourced from CCTV footage but this was not made available to the rep who was representing the member.
Tube Lines 'Rest Day' Dispute resolved
Submitted by rmtlondon on 16 August, 2014 - 05:13I am pleased to advise branches that following further discussions with the company, the GGC has accepted the latest proposal from Tube Lines to resolve this dispute. The details of the agreement are below: -
- All staff will be rostered to work a 35 hour week consisting of 5 consecutive shifts (either Sunday – Thursday or Monday to Friday) with 2 consecutive day off.
- The 10 days on 4 off roster will be removed from the Contract of Employment.
- Annual Leave days will be 37 days per annum.
Tube Bosses "Not Conducting Meaningful Negotiations" In EJM Dispute

Our Regional Organiser reports that management are not conducting meaningful negotiations over this plans and are in fact moving to implement them without agreement. We are acting in conjunction with our sister union TSSA and have outlined our demands which are as follows:
- A clear unconditional commitment that no member of staff will suffer a loss of substantive pay
