Cleaners demo for 29th January cancelled

Dear Colleague

CANCELLED: CLEANERS DEMONSTRATION 29TH JANUARY

We have been advised by our parliamentary group that due to the likelihood of a series of Brexit votes on 29th January it will be extremely difficult to hold an effective the demo and rally because of large amount of activity outside parliament on that date and also our rally taking place at the same time as Brexit votes taking place. 

Meeting arranged to discuss Central Line dispute

BREAKDOWN IN INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS, TRAIN OPERATORS, CENTRAL LINE - LONDON UNDERGROUND (LUL/14/2)

Further to my previous Circular (IR/506/18, 21st November 2018) a series of talks with the Company took place at ACAS before Christmas in an effort to seek a resolution to this dispute. There was some movement on the key issues and the National Executive Committee took the decision to suspend the strike action on Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd December 2018.

DUTIES/SHIFT COVERAGE, BAKERLOO SOUTH GROUP - LONDON UNDERGROUND (LUL/14/5)

Further to my previous Circular (IR/561/18, 21st December 2018), the Company has now confirmed that a meeting regarding the review of the Business Needs Schematics will take place with our RMT Reps within the next two weeks and will include all stations within the Bakerloo South Cover Group. A timescale for future meetings will be arranged at this initial meeting.
