JUSTICE FOR STATION AND REVENUE STAFF (LUL/14/2)

I previously advised you that RMT has launched a campaign for Justice for Station and Revenue Staff (Ref: IR/023/20, 15th January 2020, with the immediate instruction from your National Executive Committee being that I commence a ballot of Revenue Control Inspectors.

I can now inform you that notice of a ballot has been served on London Underground on the basis that the company is introducing a new Revenue Control Officer grade on inferior terms to the current RCI grade, proposing to deploy non-LUL enforcement officers onto LUL stations and infrastructure and failing to fill all existing RCI vacancies.

The ballot opens on Thursday 30th January 2020 and closes on Thursday 20th February 2020. If any RCI member has not received their ballot papers by Monday 10th February 2020, then they should contact the union's Freephone Helpline on 0800 376 3706 and request a replacement paper.
