BREAKDOWN IN INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS, TRAIN OPERATORS, CENTRAL LINE - LONDON UNDERGROUND (LUL/14/2)

Further to my previous Circular (IR/463/18, 26^th October 2018), the following resolution has been received from Central Line East Branch:-

“Following the outstanding show of solidarity on our last action on Nov 7^th. The Central Line East Branch calls upon the NEC to name new strike action dates for Train Operators on both our industrial relations dispute and our Paul Bailey reinstatement dispute on the Central Line. We wish to strike as follows.

All duties booking on between 20:00 hours on 21^st Dec and 02:00 hours on 22^nd Dec. And all duties booking on between 04:00 hours and 20:00 hours on 22^nd Dec”.

The National Executive Committee has considered this matter and taken the decision to call on all Central Line Train Operators, Night Tube Train Operators and Instructor Operators to take strike action by not booking on for any shifts that commence between:-

• 20:00 hours on Friday 21^st December and 02:00 hours on Saturday 22^ndDecember 2018

• 04:00 hours and 20:00 hours on Saturday 22^nd December 2018
