Justice for Station and Revenue Staff

Dear colleague

JUSTICE FOR STATION AND REVENUE STAFF

RMT has launched a campaign to achieve Justice for Station and Revenue Staff at London Underground as the company tries to bulldoze through plans to undermine revenue grades by introducing a new grade on inferior terms and conditions and over its continuous failure to take proper steps to address the issue of workplace violence faced by all LU station grade members.

The aims of this campaign are therefore to fight for a safe workplace by ending lone working, to demand that all existing Revenue Control Inspector vacancies be filled and to carry out an audit of all stations to ensure safe staffing levels. RMT members will also be opposing the creation of a new revenue grade on inferior terms and opposing the deployment of non-LUL staff on LUL infrastructure. RMT calls for all CSAs to be graded CSA1 and for parity between Station and Revenue grades with Train Operators regarding Boxing Day working.

Show your support for this campaign and solidarity with the grades affected by attending a protest at the next meeting of the LUL Workplace Violence Group at Palestra House, 197 Blackfriars Road, London SE1 8NJ from 13.30-15.30 on Tuesday 21st January 2020.

LU management’s actions are a clear provocation to our members so please attend the protest and show your support for the campaign to achieve Justice for Station and Revenue Staff on London Underground.

Yours sincerely

Mick Cash
General Secretary
