UPDATE: Two in a cab training to be suspended with immediate effect following RMT intervention

Following the Government’s announcement on Saturday about the alarming rise of COVID-19 transmissions in London, the RMT immediately contacted the LUL Managing Director to demand an urgent meeting about the effects on our members.

Today, Sunday December 20 th, TFC and Tier 2 reps attended a meeting with senior management to discuss the problems surrounding 2 in a cab training. LUL managers have been very proactive in responding to our demands and agreeing to meet.

With immediate effect, 2 in a cab training will be suspended and will only be resumed once it is deemed safe to do so.

The situation will be reviewed in the first week of January and then regularly thereafter. If you have been engaging in 2 in a cab training, please contact your Trains Manager for further instructions before attending work.
