JOB CUTS, TRAIN OPERATORS, QUEENS PARK DEPOT - LONDON UNDERGROUND (LUL/14/5)

I write further to my previous Circular (IR/067/21, 11th February 2021), concerning the above matter. Despite numerous requests from your union for a dispute resolution meeting to be convened the company have refused and continued with the imposition of the new roster from 16th May 2021.

Your National Executive Committee has met to consider the matter and noted that members and reps are being ignored as the company press on with imposing the new timetable with the associated cuts to rostered Train Operators at Queens Park. Your NEC has therefore instructed me to commence a ballot of our Train Operator and Instructor Operator members at Queens Park Traincrew Depot for strike action.

The ballot opened on Thursday 25th March 2021 and will close on Thursday 8th April 2021. Any member not having received a ballot paper by today (31st March 2021) is asked to email info@rmt.org.uk. Alternatively, members can call the RMT freephone helpline on 0800 376 to request a replacement.

I will, of course, advise you of the result of this ballot when voting closes.
