BREAKDOWN IN INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS, TRAIN OPERATORS, PICCADILLY LINE – LONDON UNDERGROUND (LUL/14/2)

Further to my previous Circular (IR/175/15, 23rd July 2015), members will recall the General Grades Committee took the decision to declare a dispute situation with London Underground over a catalogue of issues affecting Train Operator and Instructor Operator members on the Piccadilly Line, which include:-

Extensive Scabbing Operation Launched As Waterloo & City Line Strike Takes Place

RMT on Waterloo and City Line strike action:
General Secretary Mick Cash said; "Our members from service control on the Waterloo and City Line are 100% united and solid in their action today as they fight for pay and grading justice. All they are asking for is to be treated the same as similar‎ staff elsewhere on the Underground. Their claim is for basic fairness.

Night tube deferred - doesn't mean our pay rise should be!

LU have suggested that they will not impose NT,but seek to come to an agreement with the RMT and other TUs.
This is obviously more preferable than having NT imposed and It comes with some obvious questions - not least being where's our pay increase?

We are patiently waiting for LUL to make us a decent offer.
But our patience is limited.
