Subject: LUL SECURITY DRIVER’S CABS
That we note the report from our Lead Officer and commend our Train Safety Council on the progress made so far on this serious matter.
We instruct the General Secretary to place an updated report back in front of the NEC upon any significant developments and/or prior to the November 2019 implementation date.

All operational LUL branches & the London Transport Regional Council to be advised.
That we note the Lead Officer has consulted the representatives regarding the lack of progress by management on this issue; and our members need protection from the excessive noise where these poor track conditions exist.
Therefore, we instruct the General Secretary to ballot all Train Operators and Operator Instructors on the Jubilee, Central, Victoria and Northern Lines for industrial action for action short of a strike; namely:

That we note the correspondence on file from the Lead officer in relation to the company’s unsatisfactory response, and we instruct the General Secretary to arrange a meeting asap of all affected Train Operator H&S reps, the Trains Safety Council, Lead Officer, Senior Assistant General Secretary and members of the NEC in attendance.

SUBJECT: EXTENDED TRAIN PREPARATION SCHEDULE – LONDON UNDERGROUND
That we note the decision of the 2019 RMT AGM; and that this dispute has been resolved due to the successful yes ballot of our LU Fleet members for industrial action, and the probable balloting of other grades on this matter.
Workers on the Heathrow Group have secured a significant victory, after an RMT campaign against lone work achieved an agreement from management.
Key to this achievement was the decision of the local branch to ballot both station staff and Night Tube drivers for industrial action, showing that when workers stand together and prepare to take action, we can win concessions from our bosses.

REMOVAL OF DETRAINMENT STAFF, WATERLOO, WATERLOO & CITY LINE - LONDON UNDERGROUND (LUL/14/10)
Further to my previous Circular (IR/240/19, 13th June 2019), ballot papers were posted to members on Monday 24th June and the closing date for the ballot isTuesday 16th July 2019. If any member has not received their ballot paper, please ask them to contact the RMT Helpline on 0800 376 3706 or the RMT Switchboard on 0207 387 4771 and ask to speak to the Industrial Relations Department.
