RMT calls urgent meeting over shortage of train operators

Subject: TRAIN OPERATOR RECRUITMENT & ALLOCATION TO DEPOTS (2009 AGREEMENT) – LONDON UNDERGROUND

That we note the resolution from London Transport Regional Council relating to the London Underground 2009 Agreement RMT was not party to on train operator headcount; and the detrimental effect it is increasingly having on our members in terms of their ability to take leave, family friendly & flexible arrangements, medically necessary reasonable adjustments, Training, secondments, career development, representation at management meetings including disciplinaries.

Piccadilly management 'adhere to agreements' in face of reps determination

Subject: IMPOSITION OF ROSTER, ACTON TOWN PICCADILLY LINE TRAINCREW DEPOT – LONDON UNDERGROUND

That we note the report from the Lead Officer; that in light of us moving toward a dispute, and in the face of our representative’s determination and strong arguments the company have decided to adhere to procedure, have meaningful talks on any roster changes and to return to the status quo in the meantime.

Waterloo & City detainment dispute ballot results

Harrow Canteen closure update

Subject: CANTEEN CLOSURE, HARROW, METROPOLITAN LINE – LONDON UNDERGROUND

That we note the report from our Lead Officer who has consulted with our Neasden Branch representatives who in turn have consulted extensively with their members affected. The view is that the matter has not got enough support for taking the necessary action to resolve this dispute.

We therefore instruct the General Secretary to close this file and we commend our Neasden branch for seeking ways to address this issue.

'Utter dismay' as Acton Town management attempt to impose roster

Subject: IMPOSITION OF ROSTER, ACTON TOWN PICCADILLY LINE TRAINCREW DEPOT – LONDON UNDERGROUND

That we note with utter dismay the resolution from our Piccadilly & District West Branch that Trains Management on the Piccadilly Line have imposed a roster on our driver members despite tabled objections from our representatives and without warning while repeatedly refusing to convene requested meetings to discuss the matter further.

Meeting arranged to discuss Central Line dispute

BREAKDOWN IN INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS, TRAIN OPERATORS, CENTRAL LINE - LONDON UNDERGROUND (LUL/14/2)

Further to my previous Circular (IR/506/18, 21st November 2018) a series of talks with the Company took place at ACAS before Christmas in an effort to seek a resolution to this dispute. There was some movement on the key issues and the National Executive Committee took the decision to suspend the strike action on Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd December 2018.

Industrial victory: Bakerloo Line South Group action suspended

Subject: DUTIES/SHIFT COVERAGE, BAKERLOO LINE SOUTH GROUP – LONDON UNDERGROUND

That we note the report from the Lead Officer; and that the company agree with all our points and demands in this dispute and appear to be sincere in rectifying the unsatisfactory items.

This industrial victory is to the credit of our stations members, reps, activists and the Bakerloo Line Branch who have by their steadfastness and solidarity demonstrated their willingness to stand up to the company.
