Jubilee Line ballot begins on Thursday 3rd of May

INTRODUCTION OF WTT15 - TRAIN OPERATORS - JUBILEE LINE, LONDON UNDERGROUND (LUL/14/2)

The following resolution has been received from our Neasden Branch:-

“This branch notes that London Underground is proposing to introduce Working Timetable 15 from 20th May 2018.

Following a recent schedules meeting and scrutiny by our representatives it became clear that the introduction of WTT15 would increase the volume of weekend working which is in breach of the pay dispute resolution agreement dated 21st May 2016.

New duty schedules on the Jubilee Line

Dear member,

As we previously reported, your RMT reps rejected the new duty schedules for timetable 15 as they include an increase in weekend working. This matter was then taken up by RMT Trains Functional Council Reps with senior London Underground management. However, LU announced they would breach the 2015 pay deal and impost their new duty sheets on us.

The negative impact of our duty schedules is not a concern for our bosses as they don’t have to deal with thousands of passengers, do shifts, or work weekends. But for us on the front line, that is our lives.

TO ALL BRANCHES AND REPRESENTATIVES
ALL UNDERGROUND AND FORMER LT EMPLOYERS
28th March 2018 Circular No: IR/168/18

Dear Colleague,
BREAKDOWN IN INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS, TRAIN OPERATORS, PICCADILLY LINE - LONDON UNDERGROUND (LUL/14/2)

Further to my previous Circular (IR/140/18, 14th March 2018), the following resolution has been received from our Piccadilly & District West Branch:-

Management understaffing Train Ops on the Piccadilly Line

BREAKDOWN IN INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS, TRAIN OPERATORS, PICCADILLY LINE – LONDON UNDERGROUND

We note the resolution from our Piccadilly & District West Branch; and that a dispute situation is arising due to the intolerable behaviour from management understaffing Train Ops on the Piccadilly Line, attacking our Members through draconian use of the attendance procedures, breaching agreements and obstructing our representatives’ trades union duties.

RMT – Never on our knees!

SACKED FOR GETTING WATER!

An RMT member on the Bakerloo Line was dismissed for gross misconduct last year after a battle lasting nearly a year. The case was a stitch-up by management from beginning to end, with a non-safety related staff error presented as gross misconduct and numerous other alleged Code of Conduct charges invented in order to beef up a feeble CDI brief.
